Our Premium Rooibos is certified by Ecocert International, Germany.
All products grown by certified organic family farmers, must meet the stringent standards of the Organic Crop Improvement Association International (OCIA). No synthetic fertilizers or toxic chemicals are used in the production, storage, or cleaning of these products. Detailed records, annual inspections, and the Inspection Certificate issued by the officially authorized inspection body guarantee you the highest quality, environmentally friendly food products available.
Organic agriculture is an ecological production management system that promotes and enhances bio-diversity, biological cycles and soil biological activity. It is based on minimal use of off-farm inputs and on management practices that restore, maintain and enhance ecological harmony. "Organic" is a labeling term that denotes products produced under the authority of the Organic Foods Production Act. The principal guidelines for organic production are to use materials and practices that enhance the ecological balance of natural systems and that integrate the parts of the farming system into an ecological whole. Quality Control |

Each batch of Our Premium Rooibos Tea is tested during processing for purity, moisture content, texture & aroma, taste & color, and uniformity (length of cut). The batch number on the retail packaging can be traced back to the batch at the plantation processing plant.
Before Export a sample of Our Premium Rooibos is tested by the S. African Perishable Products Export Control Board to ensure that the tea meets the stringent standards for the highest Rooibos grade, the Super Export Grade.

Each 2.5g tea bag makes 3-5 cups or 1 teapot full. As the tea does not get bitter, you can steep it for many hours. The tea may be re-heated as the tea keeps its flavor and aroma for many hours.
Left-over tea can be enjoyed cold or used in your favorite dishes, as a rinse for your hair or skin, or to nourish your pets or house plants
