Rooibos has so many wonderful applications for creating a nourished, beautiful body. Using Rooibos in your daily routines can have a huge impact on the way you look and feel. Use cold Rooibos tea as an inexpensive skin freshener and beauty enhancer. By applying cold Rooibos tea to your skin, it will give you a fresh rejuvenated look.

Tea Tanning

Did you know that Rooibos tea makes for a great natural tan? Forget that spray on tan, try using Rooibos instead! Applying concentrated Rooibos to your skin will leave it looking more tanned. Plus, it feels amazing. It acts like a natural skin tightening treatment and feels just like a mask. The stronger the Rooibos you use, the more you will be able to feel this impact.

Apply directly to skin rashes, eczema or acne.

Rooibos naturally contains alpha hydroxy acid and zinc, so it’s very good for your skin. Rooibos is very soothing and can reduce the appearance of acne and rashes when applied directly to the skin. Not only does Rooibos act as a powerful moisturizer for your skin, but it also absorbs excess oils from your body.

Add Rooibos tea to your bath water.

If you are looking to refresh the skin all over your body and not just your face, put 2-4 teabags of pure Rooibos tea in your bathwater. Not only will this tighten your skin, but since Rooibos can be used as a natural dye it can leave you looking more tanned. I would recommend trying this on your face before jumping into a Rooibos bath. The aroma is also extremely soothing and can make for a wonderful relaxing soak in the tub when you need to just get away from it all.

Rinse dark hair with Rooibos Tea to get a nice shine.

Looking for that beautiful shine? Try rinsing your hair with Rooibos and it will give your hair a beautiful shiny rejuvenated look. Depending on the strength of your rooibos tea or concentrate, this can give your hair a lovely red undertone! (Rooibos can be used as a natural clothing dye as well).
