Tega Pure Green Rooibos is a fair trade and organic certified tea, sustainably harvested in the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa. Green Rooibos is a twist on the traditional fermented variety of the Rooibos plant. Green Rooibos is steamed immediately after harvest, to stop the fermentation process from beginning. The Rooibos leaves remain their natural green colour and have a lighter taste than fermented Rooibos. Pure Green Rooibos has a taste reminiscient of traditional green tea, but also similar to that of Red Rooibos. We recommend this tea to anyone who loves to drink Green Tea and is looking for a smoother, caffeine-free alternative.

Recently I went on a 10 day ‘fast’ to achieve greater mental and spiritual clarity. Not being a person who is in the habit of fasting, I found it quite difficult, especially in the first few days. Then, I actually stumbled across something that REALLY worked for me! In an effort to keep my fluid levels high, I drank lots of water, and then discovered completely by accident, that drinking Rooibos Tea by Tega, really helped curb my appetite. I started drinking a variety of TegaTea’s for the duration of my fast. I not only achieved greater clarity, but as a ‘by product’ I also lost 18 pounds. I have continued to get other ‘rewards’ from this experience: I have been told that I look healthier and younger than before. Thank you Tega for making this whole experience a lot easier for me and for the continued health benefits that I enjoy even apart from the fasting because of your Tega Tea’s!
