Tega Pure Red Rooibos is a fair trade and organic certified tea, sustainably harvested in the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa. Red Rooibos is the traditional fermented variety of the Rooibos plant. Once harvested, the leaves are laid out on drying pads where the tea is fermented in the sun. Pure Red Rooibos has a robust full flavour, while known for its calming properties.

My name is Val Ferrier and I’d like to share with you my excitement on drinking a tea that tastes wonderful and has benefits for me with my hot flashes. I was at a Women’s Trade Show in March 2010 and was sampling the Tega Teas as they stated it was naturally caffeine free which was perfect because caffeine sets off my hot flashes and I had forgotten my vitamins that help. They said the Tega Tea “Honeybush” would be great because it balances a woman’s hormones so would help the hot flashes and if you kept it steeping it does not go bitter. I sampled the “Honeybush” Tea that morning and absolutely LOVED the taste of it and told them I’d let them know if it worked on my hot flashes. Later that morning I returned for more as I had not had one hot flash and I usually have at least 2 (two) in that time frame. I bought several boxes of the “Honeybush” and a couple of boxes of the other different flavors and loved all of them. I highly recommend the Tega Tea to all Tea Drinkers as it is absolutely the best Rooibos Tea I have tasted. I LOVE THEM ALL! I now have my Sister drinking the “Honeybush” as well.
